VIDEO SCRAMBLING SYSTEMS
The VIEWLOCK video encryption system uses line "cut and rotate" encoding to provide secure encryption of colour or monochrome baseband video signals with
a high level of image obscurity and decoded image quality. VIEWLOCK is optimised for use with radio/microwave link equipment in surveillance and security
applications. It provides near instantaneous lock-in/decoding, and is hardened against link distortions and disruption. It provides reliable, secure operation and a
high quality video image in the most demanding of conditions. The VIEWLOCK uses a secure over air data channel in the vertical-blanking interval to provide system
status, telemetry and synchronisation information. The encryption systems prevent analysis of the coding sequences by analysis of the video signal or the over
air data. Only authorised decoders having the same key sets as the encoder can decipher the scrambled video. 2 x 10 exp 84 different key combinations !
